Helping patients get out of pain and back to life—without surgery or long-term medication.
Dr. Ryan C. Jumper is the lead chiropractor and owner of Dr. Phillips Chiropractic Nutrition & Wellness, where he is dedicated to helping individuals and families overcome pain, restore function, and return to the activities they love. With over 5 years of clinical experience, Dr. Jumper specializes in treating complex spine and musculoskeletal conditions through a comprehensive, non-invasive approach.
Clinical Expertise & Approach
Dr. Jumper takes a whole-spine, root-cause approach to care—focusing not just on symptom relief, but on correcting the underlying dysfunction driving pain and limitation.
His treatment model integrates multiple therapies and techniques, including:
- Chiropractic adjustments
- Flexion-distraction (Cox-based principles)
- Soft tissue therapy
- Active rehabilitation and corrective exercise
- Functional movement restoration
This combined approach allows patients to experience both immediate symptom relief and long-term corrective results.
Dr. Jumper commonly works with patients experiencing:
- Low back pain
- Neck pain
- Sciatica
- Disc injuries and herniations
- Headaches and migraines
- Sports-related injuries
- Functional movement limitations
Structured, Personalized Care Plans
Every patient begins with an in-depth orthopedic, neurologic, and chiropractic evaluation to determine the true cause of their condition.
Based on these findings, care plans are typically structured in 4, 6, 8 or 12-week phases, depending on severity and goals. This allows for:
- Measurable progress
- Clear expectations
- A balance of relief and correction
While the clinic operates as a family wellness practice, Dr. Jumper is experienced in managing a wide range of conditions. When a case requires more specialized care, he utilizes a trusted referral network to ensure each patient receives the highest level of treatment.
Education & Clinical Background
Dr. Jumper earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker University, where he received an award for clinical excellence.
He also holds a dual undergraduate background in Exercise Science and Sport Performance, giving him a strong foundation in biomechanics, strength, and functional recovery.
He continues to expand his clinical expertise through ongoing education in:
- Personal injury case management
- Disc pathology and non-surgical spine care
What Sets Dr. Jumper Apart
One of the biggest differentiators at the clinic is the environment and experience within the walls.
Dr. Jumper believes that attitude is one of the most powerful accelerators of healing. He intentionally creates an atmosphere that is:
- Positive
- Engaging
- Personal
Patients are not treated as numbers—they are known, understood, and supported throughout their care. Building real relationships is a core part of the healing process.
His internal standard of care is simple: results.
Those results are personal to every patient. Dr. Jumper believes the body is inherently designed to function optimally and heal when given the right conditions. His role is to:
- Reduce stress and pressure on the body
- Restore proper alignment
- Reinforce functional movement
This approach allows patients to heal more efficiently and return to their highest level of performance.
A Personal Journey Into Chiropractic
Dr. Jumper’s path into chiropractic care began through his passion for strength training, including powerlifting, strongman-style training, and CrossFit.
During college, a lower back injury significantly impacted his ability to train—taking him from consistently lifting 300–400 pounds to questioning whether he could lift even 40 pounds without pain. Faced with the possibility of invasive procedures, pain medication, and long-term limitations, he sought out chiropractic care.
Within just four weeks of treatment, he was able to return to lifting without pain.
This experience led him to pursue an internship at the same clinic where he received care, where he witnessed firsthand the impact chiropractic could have on patients’ lives. That experience ultimately shaped his mission: to help others regain their health, function, and confidence just as he did.
Today, Dr. Jumper is honored to be part of his patients’ recovery and performance journeys every day.
Life Outside the Clinic
Dr. Jumper is married to his wife, Kaela, and together they have a six-month-old daughter. Outside the clinic, he enjoys:
- Powerlifting
- Rock climbing
- Spending time outdoors with his family
His personal background in strength training and movement allows him to connect deeply with patients looking to return to an active, high-performing lifestyle.
